France Telecom to add to its TP stake next year
France Telecom has made no decision on the possible replacement of the existing 'Idea' brand of its Polish mobile phone unit with Orange, its pan-European mobile brand. It says it will increase its stake in Telekomunikacja Polska, Poland's no. 1 phone company from 44 to more than 47.5 percent next January, buying a minor stake now owned by its local partner, Kulczyk Holding investment group.

Kopex sale seen next month
Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa, a state-owned sugar refinery could sell its 65 percent stake in publicly traded Kopex SA mining equipment distributor as early as next month, sources close to the situation told PARKIET this week. In the meantime, Katowice-based Kopex plans to bid for several large contracts in Vietnam and on the Italian island of Sardinia.
Kopex along with newly acquired subsidiaries says its sales will double from last year's PLN 208 million ($66 million).
