Der Deutschen Telekom AG ist am 3. September 2007 folgende

Stimmrechtsmitteilung gemäß § 21 Abs. 1 Satz 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz

(WpHG) von der Telephone & Data Systems, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, USA,

zugegangen:

'Notification of Voting Rights (Stimmrechtsmitteilung) pursuant to § 21 (1)

German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz, WpHG)

We herewith notify you in accordance with § 21 (1) sentence 1 WpHG that on

20 July 2007 our shareholding in Deutsche Telekom AG fell below 3 percent

and on that day amounted to 2.96% (129,261,861 voting rights). Thereof,

2.96% (129,261,861 voting rights) were attributed to us pursuant to § 22

(1) sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.

In addition, on behalf of TDSI Corporation, 30 North LaSalle Street,

Chicago, IL 60602 USA, we herewith notify you in accordance with § 21 (1)

sentence 1 WpHG that on 20 July 2007 the shareholding of TDSI Corporation

in Deutsche Telekom AG fell below 3 percent and on that day the

shareholding of TDSI Corporation amounted to 2.96% (129,261,861 voting

rights).

We kindly request you to publish this notification pursuant to § 26 (1)

WpHG.

Finally, for the avoidance of doubt we point out that our direct and

indirect shareholding in Deutsche Telekom AG at no point in time reached or

exceeded 5%. On 20 January 2007, our indirect shareholding in Deutsche

Telekom AG - held via our wholly-owned subsidiary TDSI Corporation -

amounted to 3.01% (131,461,861 voting rights) based on a total number of

issued shares of 4,361,185,095 (as published on your website).
