MESSAGE (ENGLISH VERSION)

CEZ Group completes the acquisition of Gas Distribution, a company operating the gas distribution network in Southern Bohemia and parts of the Vysocina Region

CEZ Group has completed the acquisition from E.ON of a 100% stake in Gas Distribution s.r.o., the operator of the gas distribution network in the South Bohemian Region and in parts of the Vysocina Region. Through its subsidiary GasNet, CEZ is thus expanding its gas distribution network and with the exception of Prague will now distribute gas throughout the Czech Republic. The gas distribution network plays a major role in the transformation of the Czech district heating business and its transition from coal-based energy to natural gas and subsequently to hydrogen.
