Photon Energy NV has announced details on three further large-scale solar power plants under development in Australia. The 129 MWp (112 MW AC) project in Brewongle, the 158 MWp (137 MW AC) project in Mumbil and the 115 MWp (100 MW AC) project in Maryvale, all located in New South Wales (NSW), are part of the previously announced 1 GWp development pipeline, for which Photon Energy has mandated advisory firm Pottinger to advise on the raising of development capital. The projects are being co-developed with a local joint venture partner.
Through its 51%-owned project companies Photon Energy AUS SPV 9 Pty Ltd., Photon Energy AUS SPV 5 Pty Ltd. and Photon Energy AUS SPV 10 Pty Ltd., the company is progressing with the New South Wales government State Significant Development process and has secured options on approximately 200 ha of land for the Brewongle project, 178 ha for the Mumbil project and 150 ha for the project based in Maryvale.
Photon Energy expects to complete the project development process to the ready-to-build stage and to commence construction in 2019. Once connected, the Brewongle, Mumbil and Maryvale projects are estimated to produce respectively 216 GWh, 281 GWh and 206 GWh of clean energy each year, contributing significantly to Australia’s Renewable Energy Target.

The Company’s project pipeline in Australia is attached to this report.
