THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF UNICREDIT APPROVED FULL YEAR 2016 RESULTS Today the Board of Directors of UniCredit approved: − the Provisional Financial Statements of UniCredit S.p.A. (the parent company) as at December 31st 2016, and − the Consolidated Financial Statements as at December 31st 2016, confirming the consolidated financial results as at December 31st 2016, already disclosed to the market as preliminary results on February 9th 2017. The Provisional Financial Statements of UniCredit S.p.A. as at December 31st 2016 will be submitted for approval to the Annual General Meeting called on April 20th 2017. The Provisional Financial Statements of UniCredit S.p.A. as well as the Consolidated Financial Statements as at December 31st 2016 will be published at least 21 days prior the Annual General Meeting on the following webpage: https://www.unicreditgroup.eu/en/investors/financial-reports.html. Following the completion of the rights issue on March 2nd 2017, UniCredit’s CET1 transitional ratio as of Dec-16 is 11.49%, well above the capital requirement defined by ECB in the Supervisory Review Evaluation Process (SREP) 2016 applicable from 1st January 2017 equal to 8.78% (10.03% including Pillar 2 Guidance). Marina Natale, after having contributed to the implementation of the capital strengthening measures of the strategic plan, is leaving UniCredit.
