In accordance with the legal provisions referred to above, as the owner of FIRTHLION LIMITED (headquarters: 38 Princes Court 88 Brompton Road Knightsbridge, London SW3 1ES, U.K Registry number: No 3760112 ) with a controlling stake I hereby announce that FIRTHLION LIMITED pursuant to stock exchange transactions dated June 16, 2006 acquired 2,183,169 i.e. two million one hundred and eighty-three one hundred and sixty-nine pieces of Borsodchem Rt. (3700 Kazincbarcika, Bólyai tér 1, Company registry: 05-10-000054) ordinary shares at an average price of HUF 2,270. As a result of the transaction, FIRTHLION LIMITED currently holds a total of 20,668,733 i.e. twenty million six hundred and sixty-eight seven hundred and thirty-three pieces of Borsodchem Rt. shares representing 25.412 % direct shareholding in Borsodchem Rt. In accordance with Subsection /3/ of Section 65 of Act CXX of 2001 the above indicated shares represent 25.412% indirect shareholding in Borsodchem Rt. by KAFIJAT Kereskedelmi és Consulting Kft. (headquartered at 1023 Budapest, Felhévizi u. 24, Company registry: 01-09-466737, hereinafter KAFIJAT Kft. ), a 99.999% owner of FIRTHLION LIMITED. In accordance with Subsection /3/ of Section 65 of Act CXX of 2001 the above indicated shares represent 25.412% indirect shareholding in Borsodchem Rt. by Mr Megdet Rahimkulov (address: 1023 Budapest, Felhévizi u. 24), a 71.44% owner of KAFIJAT Kft. as well as by Messrs. Timur Rahimkulov and Ruszlan Rahimkulov, each possessing 14.28% in KAFIJAT Kft. and by Mr Megdet Rahimkulov and their close relatives."
