ENEFI Energy Efficiency Plc (“Company”) hereby informs its Honourable Investors on the basis of the notification from the Romanian operations that - the liquidation proceedings of SC E-Star ZA Distriterm SRL (Zalau, Zalau) have been closed as a result of which also proceedings No: 5461/84/2012, 5209/84/2012 and 4892/84/2012 previously suspended due to the liquidation - in case File No: 913/84/2016 (in which ENEFI and Distriterm were cited for hearings upon the request of the Zalau Financial Authority as parties with civil law liabilities in a criminal law case in which the investigation was conducted against the former management in the case of the VAT of the agreement on the Real Energo project concluded between Distriterm and BCM) the Cluj-Napoca court of justice made a condemning decision thus in case of the non-performance of the original obligors the Company may be obliged to pay the interest of the VAT amounting to approx.
