| PRESS RELEASE UniCredit S.p.A. informs that today BlackRock issued, as required by CONSOB, a press release stating, among other things, that its aggregate holding in the ordinary share capital of UniCredit S.p.A. as at 28 December 2011 was equal to 3.09% and, consequently, the notification issued to CONSOB, published on 2 January 2012 on the CONSOB website and stating the decline of the holding in the ordinary share capital of UniCredit S.p.A. to 1.71%, should not have been issued because the mentioned change in holding was generated as a result of a corporate action and not as a result of a reduction of the aggregate holding.
